Growing up with a grandmother who was a hairstylist, Brittanie was lucky to know her dream career at the age of 12. After building a clientele in both Norcal and Socal for the last 15 years, she opened Calista in Hermosa Beach.
As both a hair stylist and salon owner, she believes we have more talents then just doing hair, we get to work with others energy, internal beauty and trust.
Brittanie specializes in low maintenance color, blondes and IBE extensions. As a previous Redken educator and current Invisible Bead Extension Specialist, Brittanie is always continuing her education and skills to provide her clients with all their hair needs. Hi I'm Kayla Wagner. I was born and raised in Ohio moved to the south Bay and I’ve been in the South Bay local for about 17 years now I started my craft when I was about 21 years old. I graduated from the Aveda Institute in West Hollywood.
I love doing hair. It is personally one of my greatest joys in life. I specialize in blondes & Extension K tips. But I also do a little bit of everything as well! I’m here for my clients and their needs. I’m willing to push myself further in my craft to to grow as much as I possibly can to keep up to date on all new styles and color. I’m excited to start this hair journey with you and love that you find trust in me.
Hi, I’m Katrina, a licensed hairstylist with 4 years of experience in the beauty industry. I earned my cosmetology certification from Santa Monica College, where I built a strong foundation in technique and professionalism. I take great pride in my work and am committed to continually improving my skills through ongoing education and advanced training, always bringing the most up-to-date techniques to my clients.
I love helping my clients feel beautiful, confident, and empowered when they leave my chair. I specialize in hair extensions of all methods, allowing me to customize each look to fit your lifestyle, goals, and vision. When I’m not behind the chair, I’m spending time with my husband, our dog, and our two cats—recharging so I can bring my best energy to every appointment.

Sam has been behind the chair for 10 years, including four years training and working at Chris McMillan Salon in Beverly Hills. She specializes in lived-in blondes and natural brunettes, creating effortless, dimensional color tailored to each client. She also offers men’s cuts. Sam values the relationships she builds with her clients and strives to make her chair a fun, welcoming, judgment-free space where everyone feels at home. When she’s not behind the chair, you can usually find her spending time outdoors with her dog, exploring nature, or finding inspiration through art and vintage design.
Melissa is a dimensional color specialist with expertise ranging from bright blondes, to lived in brondes, to sunkissed brunettes. She’s also known for her haircuts with lots of effortless movement along with her signature ‘90s blowouts. Trained under top LA stylists from salons like Nine Zero One and Ramirez Tran, Melissa is dedicated to her craft and to making each client feel truly seen, heard, and cared for. With her laid back personality and passion hair; her chair is a safe, easygoing space where great hair and great conversation go hand in hand.

With 25 years of experience, with client relations and hair, Laura is passionate about creating beautiful, healthy hair that lasts. As a stylist at Calista Hair Salon in the South Bay, She specialize in customized color and luxury hair extensions, including V-Light, I-Tip, K-Tip, and weft extensions.
Her purpose driven focus is always the health and integrity of your natural hair while achieving YOUR personal goals. Those 2 being synonymous.
Laura has been an educator for most of my career and also educating her clients throughout all of their processes. From choosing the right extension method for you to teaching you how to care for your hair at home, her goal is for you to leave loving your hair but also knowing the reality of maintaining it between visits.
